My hero/someone i admire
There are alot of great people in this world that i would be more than happy to write about that are someone i look up to but the person that i look up to the most would be my older sister, Libby. Starting out as a little 2nd grade todler Libby broke her right ankle while playing tag on the playground. Two years later, she broke her other ankle and had to constantly wear a boot her fourth grade year. Somewhere in her middle school years Libby also managed to sprain her left foot making her foot structure that much more unstable. Eighth grade Libby was faced with appendicitis and had to be rushed to the hospital to avoid rupture. She was forced into surgery and luckily made it out with few scars. Then, tenth grade year Libby was in the middle of playing a basketball game when she decided to take a “charge” this resulted in Libby toppling on her back but ending up in the wrong spot. She felt instant pain in her lower back and after playing with this injury for three more months the doctors finally concluded that she had a bulging disc in her spine adn she was to need surgery to have it removed. Still today she suffers from chronic back pain and muscle spams. But she is one of the most accomplished people i know. She has always pushed herself in school and managed to continue playing sports while keeping with her job, volenteer work, and toting me aruond whenever i needed to go somewhere. She has recently got accepted into some of the top schools on the east coast and is looking forward to studying pre-med. Even with all these physical set backs it has never stopped her from trying her hardest and to be good at what she does. She gives me guidance everyday adn even though she can get on my last nerve I know that if she can go through all of that and still have a bright future, then so can i. Im glad i have her for guidance and she is a great role model to any and all.
